Welcome to Chrono Critter (hereinafter referred to as "the Game")! This Agreement constitutes a legally binding contract between you and us regarding your use of the Game's services. Please read this Agreement carefully and ensure you fully understand its contents before using the Game.
1. Acceptance and Modification of the Agreement
Acceptance of Agreement: By downloading, installing, launching, or using the Game in any way, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all terms and conditions of this Agreement and the accompanying Privacy Policy.
Non-Acceptance: If you do not agree with any part of this Agreement, you must immediately cease using the Game. If laws, regulations, or game platform rules require you to reconfirm your acceptance after an update, you shall comply with such requirements.
Modification of Agreement: We reserve the right to modify this Agreement from time to time due to changes in laws and regulations or operational needs. The revised Agreement will take effect upon publication. We recommend that you periodically review this Agreement for the latest version.
Service Adjustment: To ensure the stability and flexibility of game operations, we reserve the right to adjust, suspend, or terminate part or all of the game services at any time based on actual operational conditions, and may not provide individual notice.
2. Game Usage Guidelines
Responsibility for Costs: You are solely responsible for any network communication fees, data traffic charges, and hardware device costs incurred while using the Game services.
Age Restriction: You confirm that you are at least 13 years old when using this service. If you are between the ages of 13 and 18, you should use this service with the consent and guidance of your legal guardian.
Assumption of Risk: You understand and agree that you assume all risks associated with downloading, installing, and using the Game. The Game is provided on an "AS IS" basis, and we make no warranties regarding its compatibility with all devices, operating systems, or network environments.
3. Game Data and Accounts
No Account Mode: To protect your personal privacy, the Game can be played without registering for an account.
Local Storage: Your game progress is primarily saved in the local storage of your device. Uninstalling the Game, clearing cache data, or changing devices may result in the loss of game progress. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for such losses.
iCloud Backup (iOS devices only): You may choose to use Apple's iCloud service to back up your game progress. This function is independently operated by Apple Inc. The processing and storage of data are subject to Apple's own terms of service and privacy policy and are unrelated to us.
4. Virtual Items
Acquisition Channels: In-game virtual currency (e.g., coins, gems) and other virtual items should only be obtained through official, recognized channels. We reserve the right to delete, without prior notice, any virtual items acquired through unofficial, illegal, or improper means.
Usage Restrictions: All virtual items are for use solely within the Game. They do not possess any legal currency attributes, cannot be exchanged for physical goods or real currency, and cannot be transferred or traded outside the Game in any form.
Policy Adjustment: We reserve the right, upon reasonable notice, to adjust the types, pricing, acquisition methods, or functions of virtual items based on operational needs.
5. User Conduct
Legality and Compliance: All your actions and generated content while using this service must comply with relevant laws and regulations and must not infringe upon any third party's legitimate rights and interests.
Prohibited Actions: You must not engage in any conduct that undermines game fairness, interferes with normal game operations, or infringes upon others' rights. This includes, but is not limited to: using cheats or bots, exploiting system bugs, attacking servers, or infringing on intellectual property rights.
Handling of Violations: If we have reasonable grounds to believe you have violated the above code of conduct, we reserve the right to take corresponding measures based on the severity of the violation. These measures may include, but are not limited to, warnings, feature restrictions, or permanent account bans, possibly without prior notice.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
All intellectual property rights (including but not limited to copyrights, trademark rights, patent rights) contained within the Game (including but not limited to its source code, art assets, character designs, music, text, interface layout, and related documentation) are owned by the developer and its licensors. Without our prior written permission, no individual or entity may copy, distribute, modify, adapt, or use the Game content for any commercial purpose.
7. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
Service "AS IS": To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Game services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Exemption from Liability: We shall not be liable for any losses resulting from force majeure, issues with third-party services, or your own improper use.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with your use or inability to use the services.
8. Miscellaneous
Governing Law: The formation, validity, interpretation, performance, and dispute resolution of this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China.
Severability: If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect and be binding upon both parties.
Assignment: We have the right to assign all or part of our rights and obligations under this Agreement to our affiliates or business acquirers without obtaining your separate consent. You may not assign any of your rights or obligations under this Agreement without our written consent.
